Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use OBSY on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at team@obsy.me if you suspect unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

You keep ownership of everything you create on OBSY — your scripts, mood boards, shot lists, project pages, posts, and other materials (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

To operate the Service, you grant HiTruth Media a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. For content you choose to make public or unlisted (for example, a public project page, a profile, or a post on The Floor), that license extends to displaying it publicly and allowing others to view and share it through the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already shared or copies retained as required by law or for routine backups.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law or third-party right.

You agree not to use OBSY to:

• post unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative content;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• spam, scrape, or send unsolicited messages, or abuse the witness/invite features;
• upload malware, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the Service;
• reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Report abuse to team@obsy.me or through the in-app report tools.

OBSY offers a free tier and paid subscriptions. The Independent plan is $40 per month. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Prices may change with notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep paid features until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

The Service itself — the software, design, “OBSY” and “The Production Ledger” branding, and related materials — belongs to HiTruth Media and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended; they grant no rights to our branding or software beyond that.

OBSY relies on third-party providers (including Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and Vercel for hosting). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content linked from the Service.

You may stop using OBSY and delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, we delete your content from active systems — deleted means deleted — except for content others have already shared, anonymized or aggregated data, and copies we must retain by law or in routine backups for a limited period. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or others.

OBSY is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that your content will never be lost. Keep your own backups of anything important.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiTruth Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiTruth Media from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in the app). Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania for any dispute not subject to other agreement.
