The Manifesto

The work is the point.

The world decided creating should be easier. Faster. Shortcut-able. Generated, not made. Outsourced to machines that have never bled for an idea or lost sleep over a verse.

We disagree.

The chase is the point. The dip is the point. The drafts nobody sees, the cut you almost made, the night you almost quit — that is the point. The dopamine of finishing something you built by hand is not a feature. It is the only feature.

OBSY is for serious creators. Filmmakers with three projects and no crew. Musicians who write at 2 a.m. and shoot at noon. Multi-hyphenates with too many projects and not enough hours. People who have things to build and no one watching them build them.

We see you. We are you.

OBSY is not for everyone. Not the prompter. Not the shortcut-seeker. Not the person who wants the trophy without the run. That's fine. Other tools will sell to them. We won't.

What we believe.

  • The chase is sacred. We protect it.
  • You build the work. We never will.
  • Witnesses, not followers. The dip is real. We will not let you ghost yourself.
  • Ship dates are promises. Promises are kept in public.

The three rituals.

Commit. Witness. Ship.

Built by hand. Witnessed in good company. — OBSY
